Usually, I post blog topics at least a month after they occur in my life. That’s not happening this month.

I wrote this months blog a month ago and maybe I will post it in the near future -but I’m on one and this topic seems more relevant.

[ hence why this post is late. Just sat down to write it ]

Earlier today, I was at the nail salon and I came across another article about Khloe Kardashian and Tristan Thompson. Normally, I tend to stay away from these topics but this I can’t resist.

On instagram stories, you are able to set up polls. Soo that’s just what I did. Very simple.. “If you were in Khloe’s shoes would you STAY or Kick his sorry a** to the curb?”

For a minute I found myself shocked at the responses. Then I looked thru them..

The more I analysed ( like a scientist would dissec a new species - ya I get that into this stuff ) It made perfect sense.

Now lucky for me I get poll responses from friends and random IG followers. Half of those people whom I know their life story.

This is what was discovered: Those who had said “Kick his a** to the curb” are some of the most respected men i’ve come to know as friends. Are women who’s mind set is career first. Young women who haven’t yet experienced real relationship problems. And then my following.

Those who had selected “Stay” were people who have cheated or have been cheated on. Are in iffy relationships with constant problems. OR understand that sometimes the decision is made for the family not just for yourself. Plus realizing it’s a lifetime of making up - the other person has to do.. Reep the benefits. Obviously, this does not speak for everyone who replied.

It’s interesting to see how people react to certain things. But this is something everyone should consider…

Theortically, let’s say you have a younger sibling going thru something awful within their relationship.. Let’s say it’s similar to Khloe and Tristan. They ask for your advice.

Would you tell them to stay?.

When I first responded to my poll, I found myself questioning a bunch of different things. Could we work it out? Would it depend on the guy? Would I only be staying so I wasn’t a single mother? Do I deserve better? Blah blah blah.

Basically, my response was essentially considering staying. I’ve been in tough relationships. Mistakes happen. I admit I make excuses for those I love… however, turning my mind around was the question of - if my younger sibling asked for my advice what would I say..

“HELL NO. PACK YOUR BAGS I’LL HIRE MOVERS.”

That’s not even exaggerated. If my little sister was dealing with the crap Khloe is going thru it would be no question that I would tell her to move on because she deserves RESPECT.

Thinking about that made me reconsider how I was thinking about the poll. If I can and you can tell people they deserve better.. Why can’t we tell ourselves?

Personally, I have a track record of dating selfish guys. It’s almost like I’m accustomed to them. Like I predict it anyway so whoop-de-doo. If they cheat they cheat. But WRONG!

No one should tolerate disrespect.

Khloe, girl, in all honesty you could have any guy you want. I get that the first marriage didn’t go as planned. That doesn’t mean that this new relationship HAS to work. Even if there’s a baby involved.

As for my readers.. Challenge yourself with questions like that to better your own relationships. Don’t be afraid to stand up for yourself. Don’t be lazy and not care what’s happening.

I feel as if everyone’s lives are so crazy busy now a days that things like cheating go under the radar. People brush it off. Monogamy “isn’t” human nature… anymore, apparently. Because people get bored in their relationships due to lack of effort and tens of thousands of unrealistic options they have on social media.

So, if monogamy is out the window is loyalty too?.
